Hello wonderfull readers of my mums blog, I am first born (gnomelet). And though I normally just stick to doing the techi work (backgrounds etc) I just thought I would give you a sneaky peak at the rest of the garden and a tiny bit of the japenese garden as it stands now.
I am back home from uni for easter and I really appreciate the garden all the more when I come from the inner city. Thankfully we have had quite a few days recently of non typical english weather, so I snapped these in the sun.
The ladder through the trees goes to the tree house my dad (himself) built.
Poor shaun the sheep has seen better days.
These artfully arranged pebbles go around the edge of the stream. Don't let this picture fool you into thinking they finished the garden though. I zoomed in on the only totally complete section, though when the chief gnome saw this her first thought was that it needed weeding. She will never give up, I can tell you that.

Hi Gnomelet! :) Nice job on the techi work for the blog. Your natural ladder to the tree house looks inviting for a great view then of your families garden project.
We have been watching a claymation show called shaun the sheep. It always gives us a wonderful laugh.
Have a great spring break in the Sun.
Love the ladder and Shaun, even if he is a bit worse for wear!
Very creative photos!
Love shaun the sheep.
Thankyou All.
Natural Moments, shaun was actually named after that very sheep, though more for in his original role in 'Wallace and Gromit the Close Shave'. I really should watch his spin off.
Nice photos, I like taking ones like that...
The garden is looking great.
Have a good holiday, don't let them work you too hard..
Love your pebbles shot! Wishing you more sunshine...our forecast calls for snow fluriies the next two days...ugh!
I've weeded the moss, must paint Shaun the Sheep when I get a roundtuit! Has anyone got one?
Jude - I promise not to work Gnomelet too hard!
Spooky - stay well wrapped up!......hope the sun shines for you soon.
Keep up the good work and rest well :) (I love tree houses)
Hi Joey. The Gnomelet has promised to do some tree house photos on her next postlet, so keep an eye out for that!
Nice work, Gnomelet. I do like Shaun
Fun to see the garden through your perspective Gnomelet. How fun to have your own Shaun the Sheep. :) Thats great you got some nice weather to enjoy the garden!
Hi gnomelet, impressive boulders and thick trunks – I'm expecting to see a troll peeping from behind one of them :-) (being a Swede, where the trolls have resided for hundreds of years, I can assure you, that they are not as freightening as they may look. I'm sure they'd get on well with English gnomes, particularily if bribed with a cuppa tea and a flapjack (has to be homemade though).
Thankyou for all the lovely comments.
Camellia, we do have a troll actually. Unfortunatley our english ones are very shy and prefer to hide in the wood pile rather than converse with gnomes. I may have to try the flapjack trick :)
Hey Gnomelet, nice to meet you. Love the last shot. Very nice little preview of things to come.
Lovely post Gnomelt - such interesting photos. Love shaun the sheep!
